The Rising Melody

Shimabuku produced The Rising Melody (2003-2017), a grass roots music showcase featuring Honolulu's top and up and coming singer/songwriters and bands.  The Rising Melody took different forms. It was an open mic for youth, a songwriter's showcase, an original music showcase for bands, a live show for events, and a team of traveling local songwriters that promote original music coming out of the islands.  www.Therisingmelody.com
